Original images during the making of the film directed by Tinto Brass from a screenplay by Gore Vidal. The controversial film was made at the Dear Studios in Rome from 1976 to 1979.

Romolo Felice worked on the set of the film as mold maker and scultptor to make many sculptures and architectural.
