Roman marble copy of the II century b.C., from the Mironian group of Athena and Marsyas, 460 b.C.. The satyr approaches the double flute that the goddess has jast thrown. In the mean time Athena, stopping the satyr with a gesture of the left hand, alludes to a dance step on the left foot.
