Reduction of the famous statue of the Apollo of Vejo masterpiece of Etruscan art in polychrome terracotta from the late 6th century b.C. Together with the Hercules and other sculptures, they adorned the temple of Veio in the locality of Portonaccio. Built at the end of the VI century BC the great Tuscan temple stood in the sanctuary dedicated to Minerva, one of the most venerated of Etruria. The statue is now preserved in the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome.
