- HOW CAN I KNOW THE PRICES?
Take note of the code of each item that interests you and send a message from the Contact page. We will send you the price of each single cast, including shipping and packaging costs.
Prices are also listed in our catalog.
- DO YOU HAVE A CATALOG?
Yes, our paper catalog is sent for free with your first order. The PDF catalog can be requested at the Contact section or by email at: info@felicecalchi.com
- DO YOU SHIP WORLDWIDE?
Yes, we ship worldwide (excluding countries with customs restrictions). We ship with FedEx, TNT and UPS. Possible Customs Taxes and Charges must be paid by the customer.
- DELIVERY IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Shipping and Professional Packaging are not included in the item price. The cost of shipping is calculated on the order.
- HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT BEFORE RECEIVING THE ORDER?
Most of the items are shipped in times of 2 to 8 weeks (depending on the article) as they are made on request when ordering.
- WHAT SHOULD I DO IF ANY ARTICLE COMES DAMAGED?
Items must be opened and inspected within 48 hours of delivery to report any damage. We take the best care in packaging, however the goods travel at the buyer’s risk. We offer full value insurance service (optional). In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, the claim must be made directly to the courier. In the case of insured shipping, we will proceed with a replacement after receiving the damaged item back (shipping must be paid by the buyer), subject to reimbursement from the insurance company. The damaged cast must remain available for damage inspection. The original packaging must be saved in all its parts.
- CAN I VISIT YOUR STUDIO?
The visit to our Studio is possible only by appointment.
- HOW CAN I PAY AN ORDER?
We accept payments by bank transfer, PayPal or Cash. For orders over € 250 the PayPal rate is charged to the buyer.
- ACCEPT RETURNS?
The works are made upon request at the time of order so we can not accept returns.
- SELL WHOLESALE?
No, we are the only agents for the distribution of our works and we do not sell to other retailers.
- SELL SECOND CHOICE OR DAMAGED ITEMS?
We can sell incomplete or unfinished casts according to the availability of the moment. The average discount price is 15-50% excluding taxes and shipping. Please contact us to check availability.
- MAKE DISCOUNTS FOR SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES?
Yes, we apply a 10% discount (minimum order € 2,000) on all orders from Art Schools, Academies and Universities.
- WHAT MATERIAL YOUR CASTS ARE MADE?
Our casts are made of Gesso Alabastrino (Plaster of Paris) ventilated with reinforcing fibers and metal reinforcements. We also offer a wide selection of pigmented resins or added with aggregates.
- CAN YOUR CASTS BE PLACED OUTDOORS?
Plaster casts must only be placed in an indoor environment. The resin casts can also be placed outdoors.
- WHAT MATERIAL RECOMMENDED FOR THE CASTS TO BE USED IN ART COURSES?
The plaster for its color, and its chiaroscuro is certainly the best material for use in the exercise of drawing. However, for an intensive use in Art Class we have developed the White Gyps Resin, a synthetic material of the same color of the plaster but much more resistant that perfectly replaces the casts and particularly delicate works.
- CAN I CHOOSE THE PATINA?
All our casts have a neutral wax finish with a non-glossy surface. However, it is possible to choose an ancient patina or different patina to be specified when ordering.
- HOW MUCH ARE FAITHFUL YOUR CASTS RESPECTED TO THE ORIGINALS?
All our casts are made from first-generation molds taken directly from the original works preserved in museums. We guarantee maximum fidelity and details. We invest a great deal in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our molds archive, from which we obtain excellent quality casts.
- HOW CAN I CLEAN MY CASTS?
Casts must be stored away from moisture and dust, however they can be cleaned with a soft cloth. Absolutely do not clean with rubbers, greasers, soap or any other material.
