Pietà by Michleangelo Buonarroti

Sculptural group considered among the greatest masterpieces of western art.
Known as the Vatican Pietà, it is one of the early works that Michelangelo Buonarroti made in 1499.
The work of art, unique signed by the great artist, was commissioned by Cardinal Jean de Bilhères and is now preserved in the Basilica of Saint Peter in Rome.
